The Honey Bees

This week we went to the homeless youth resource center, and while we were there we saw a purebred pit bull puppy and we also saw diabetic resource dogs at crossroads.

While at crossroads and the HYRC we sorted clothes for three and a half hours! We color coded, sorted, and hung up clothes.

I loved the garden working there made me want one. I'm so excited to hang out with the kids this day just gets better and better.

So this week was really all about new perspectives. New people, new stories, new understandings. One of the main things I'll take away from this week comes from our experience delivering food to houses from the Utah food bank we went to a cute little house with a cute little cat owned by a cute little man. He was so sweet, inviting, and just happy to see us. This joy and purity he had made me realize that there are so many elderly people who are completely forgotten and isolated from society. As a person who added to this problem I understand that God's hands extend thorough us to the shut ins and elderly and we should all do our part to learn from them and bring them back into our society.

We heard from a Veteran nicknamed Foxy and he told us of many of his experiences and morals that he left the war with. These mantras were quite eye opening.
